digitaldavincimama - (June 28, 2008) As a logical solution at first we bought a car seat that could be also carried around the store, snapped on the stroller or carseat wheelcart or shopping cart. It was very natural choice and I feel it was a right one as having a newborn we wanted to have an option of not waking up the baby upon taking out of the car. The Graco SnugRide did the trick. It was just our choice but any of those I wuld recommend to start with. Then as a step two when the baby reached the weight and age border line for the front facing we started to look for an ultimate carseat knowing it should last few years. We did not rushed with the decission as we wanted to let the baby ride rear facing as long as poss

ottolam - (October 21, 2004) I am sure a lot of people who are reading this review now are hesitating if they should get the Britax Roundabout, Marathon, or the Evenflo Triumph. My wife and I have decided to go with the Roundabout, and I think we have made the right choice. Here are the reasons why we didn't pick the other two. The Evenflo Triumph is heavier, the cover material is not as soft, and it doesn't feel as sturdy as the Britax. What about the Marathon? Choosing between the Roundabout and the Marathon was difficult as both of them are very nice. The Marathon is bigger, heavier, and more expensive, but it can last longer as it can support up to 65 lbs. However, we are not sure if the Marathon will fit in our car

mrudoni - (August 25, 2004) I searched the web for other parent's comments on car and booster seats. Many were very happy with suggesting the Britax Marathon. Britax has tested their seats in Europe, which apparently tests at a higher speed than the U.S. I wasn't totally convinced that the Britax was a safer seat as it too has the molded plastic seats, but with added foam that is used in bicycle helmets it seemed reasonable. The Britax is pretty well padded, but the Eddie Bauer 3in1 seat is too. Although it makes sense that a 3in1 carseat might be the only one a parent would need, consider the height limitations. My son is a bit above average in height and would have surely outgrown the height limitations on the Britax
elk571 - (11/19/2010) I think the strengths and weaknesses I wrote above cover most of it- also love the mommy friendly pattern/color that is gender neutral but not in a way that it's not at all girly or too feminine for boys either (black/white houndstooth). Also love the way the cupholder is attached and that it comes w/ an adjustable pillow too. Buckle is much easier than the on in my infant carrier b/c it is one at a time and changing the angle is super easy as well. What really made me buy it was that it's an all in one and has a much higher weight limit than any others at the time I bought it, since they are now recommending keeping your children in seats a bit longer than the previous guidelines require so I know if they officially change it I don't have to buy ANOTHER seat...
vymorgan - (11/02/2010) This is our family's 3rd puchase of the Alpha Omega Elite Car Seat. The car seat installs easily and placing the child in the seat is very easy. Adjusting the straps is also very easy.

ashleyrenee86 - (10/02/2010) I wont be using this carseat for all stages. I will be buying a different booster seat for when my son needs one. Overall I should have done more research and probably paid more for a better carseat
