Herman Miller Aeron Chair Highly-Adjustable

Strengths: Very comfortable, highly adjustyable.

Weakness: Steep price

Altough the chair is expensive, once you sit in it, you wonder why you waited so long to purchase one. The controls are easy to operate and works great. I highly recommend the chair for anyone having back problems and even sciatic nerver problems. You can complement it with a cushion.

I hate my chair

Strengths: you can spin around?

Weakness: arms too wide, the arms moved in and out. This was supposed to be a good feature, but I pinched myself and caught my phone cord in the chair constantly. the low back doesn't have enough support.

Several people in my office have this chair and love it. I hate mine and have had nothing but trouble. I had to have the arms removed because they were too wide and I developed carpal tunnel in my arm from holding it in a weird position. My low back is killing me. I'm trying to get the office supply place to trade it.

Excellent chair. The cheapest I can find considering the 12yr warranty (I go through a $200 chair every 2 yrs). As for features, I love the forward tilt & moveable arms, and the previous reviewer must not have a clue... well, let's just say the moveable arms are perfect, and if you're still using phones with cords, you're out of your league in this chair? Feeling a little behind the times?

It sounds like someone just ordered a bunch of these chairs for everybody at the office with no attention to sizing. THis is typical when HR/IT has gone shopping and just wants to spend money on "cool" stuff.

This person probably got the wrong size chair. The chair comes in three sizes--because ONE SIZE DOES NOT FIT ALL. If the arms were too far out she needed the A size most likely. The swivel arms are also a feature that you pay extra for. The basic model doesn't have arms swivel.

As pricey as they are, they are the most comfortable chair I've sat in over the years. Usually I buy a new chair every 3-5 years cause they have become uncomfortable.
