More detail on product dimensions would be useful, but Northern Tool generally is a good merchant to deal with online. I've purchased other products from this company online, which is why I keep coming back. |

Very good first time experience. One possible improvement: be clear on how long product will take until shipment (plus time in transit). New comment: Product ordered was a generator. The cardboard box it came in was partially broken, probably by the weight of the machine, upon arrival. |

Very good shopping experience overall. Now that I have received the merchandise, one part of the shipment arrived damaged. I reported damage to UPS who picked up damaged part for inspection. After not hearing anything for a while I contacted Northern who connected me with Hobart, the vendor, and I received a replacement shortly thereafter. You judge a merchant by how well they handle a problem and Northern Tools rose to meet the challenge. |

The 11/25 order was to be shipped in 5-7 days. It was shipped until 12/7. Follow-up calls to Northern Tool were very cordial and they followed through with my request for information. Contact for delivery was made on 12/15 but we were not home on that day delivery was not made until 12/20. The delay was not serious but did necessitate hiring snow removal while waiting. |

Site is easy to navigate and operates quickly. Would like a bit more product information/detail or a link to the manufacturer's web site for the electric heaters that I was shopping for. Checkout was a breeze and all shipping charges and taxes were clearly called out. Overall an excellent shopping experience. |
