I purshase an item on cyber monday with a 25% discount. They cancel the order giving me no information about it in the cancellation. I had to call them next day to find out that I could place the order again with no discounts. |

Placed an order on Dec 22nd for an item. Received an email on Jan 7th saying the item had been delayed. Called to cancel the order this afternoon and found out that it had already been canceled this morning. When I had placed the order the item was reported to be in stock. Several days later its status changed to "located in stock." All they had to do apparently was ship it. Why they weren't able to ship it is beyond me, but I am very disappointed in this company and will avoid doing business with them in the future. |

I do not have my order- it has been a nightmare from start to finish! The web-site defaulted to 2 items the night I made my order- I realized the mistake immediately- within 30 seconds- and cancelled the order. I received a confirmtion email of the cancellation indicating my card would not be charged, so I ordered the correct item at the correct quantity- 1. Yet, I was charged for 3 items any way. I called Dick's - they would not/could not help me - I called my bank and they indicated Dick's had to release the charge in their system- I called Dick's back, who told me they would not, and I had to wait for it to self correct- a Week later it did. Now it is the 10th of December I have no product- it is lost at the shipper, and 8 calls to Dick's have all resulted in them telling me they would call me back in about 24 hours- and the corporate operator cut me off twice then xferd me to the same crazy dept- twice!! I am stuck, no product, out the money! I will never buy from them again! |

Item was listed on Website as 'In Stock - Ships in 2 - 3 business days' then tracking page listed item as 'found in warehouse' for 2 weeks. Item took 16+ days to arrive instead of promised 4-5. Customer Service is via email and completely ineffective in finding items, resolving their problems other than making it clear that information on their website is inaccurate. Do not shop here unless you enjoy being disappointed. |

The people who do the email service questions are terrible . Never a answer to your question ."Follow this link and resubmit you question ,if that does not answer you question ,click here ".It takes you back to the very same information all over again. I signed up for Dicks Sporting goods emails to use the 10% off offer . When I tried to use it I called and place the order to make sure I got my 10% off of $600.00 . I spoke to a rep who assured me my credit card would only be charged $539.99 . They went ahead and charged my card the FULL $599.99 . After repeated emails and a few phone calls ,it was not for 5 days that a credit was issued for $60.00 to my card . If I had not complained so much I really don't believe I would have received the credit . Never again will I shop at Dicks . |

Ordered a bowflex from Dick's. Come's in 5 boxes. 2 of the 5 boxes cancelled at shipping time. The other 3 show up. Customer Services says, 'we don't know what happened, we'll notify the warehouse'. Long story short, 5 calls later, they still don't know anything and haven't heard from this mythical "warehouse". Finally, the say let's pick up the 3 boxes delivered and just reorder. Stupid concept but I agree since they can't stick finger in butt. I gripe enough that they "request" a 10% savings on the reorder (not garaunteed though!). Our CS girl says they see that this item is in stock and it should ship next day. I get an e-mail that this item has been back ordered! Next call to CS says, 'we don't know what happened'. Well duh! I don't think they care much about supporting their customers. I'll avoid the stores as well because of this! Suggest you do the same. |

The item didn't arrive. Dick's confirmed that the shipment was lost but wouldn't issue me a credit. It has taken several phone calls and talking to a supervisor and I still haven't received a credit 2 months later. If your item arrives you may be ok, but if you have to deal with customer service, forget it. I wouldn't risk using this company again, no matter how good the deal is. |

I bought a fishing rod from them but when it arrived only half of the rod (apparently, it comes in 2 pieces) was in the box. When I called to complain, they told me I would have to ship it back to them and unfortunately the fishing rod was now out of stock so all they can do is credit my account. Couldn't offer me a different fishing rod or a discount. And since it was to be a present that I need for this weekend, now I have nothing. |

I had to place four different orders through Dicks. Each time the Website and phone operator claimed the items were in stock. Each time I receieved an email saying they were on back order. Customer Service did not want to do anything to fix the problem. They are basically using false advertising, promising leaving the warehouse in 1-2 days with free shipping as a way to bait customers. I am reporting them to the better business bureau. |

(Edited May 06th by colascdave) I was overcharged for shipping on an order where I used a gift card and charged the balance to a credit card. The item description screamed "Free Shipping & Free Return Shipping." However when I added it to my shopping cart a shipping charge was included. I called customer service and they said don't worry about it because the shipping charge would be deducted when I complete the transaction. WRONG! I foolishly completed the order and had to call their inept customer service yet again. They did credit the amount back - TO THE GIFT CARD! They refuse to transfer the credit to my credit card from which the overcharge was originally paid. In short, they turn their screw-up to their own advantage by requiring me to make another purchase from them. From the looks of their ratings, this unmitigated audacity is very myopic and will cost them dearly in the long run. |

wish I never set foot into Dick's Sporting Good. All I wanted was a good elliptical machine delivered and set up in my home. I paid a total of $1,316 for the equipment, delivery, assembly and the warranty plan. It took 2 guys several hours to assemble the E25 Sole elliptical, and after a couple of work outs the left arm was loose. After several phone calls and parts delivered, it's obvious the guys who Dick's hired to come out to do the assembly damaged the arm. Dick's did not help at all through out this process. I had to do all the leg work and to no avail. At this point, I'm calling Dick's tomorrow morning and telling them to come get their busted equipment and give me a full refund - not sure how they will react since I purchased the elliptical on 3/10 andit's 4/27 - that's how long I've been trying to resolve this. I would not recommend this store to anyone ever. Save yourself some aggrevation and do not shop here. |

I ordered from this merchant because of Google checkout's $10 off of $30 discount and selected free shipping which said that it would arrive in 7-9 days. Satisfactory delivery. I was just surprised that it took 5 days to process the order and ship it out. Perhaps I'm just used to other online stores promptly shipping out products, but I did order a different product from another athletic online store 2 days later and received the product sooner with their free shipping so I'd probably not use this merchant again. |

I went to DicksSportingGoods.com knowing that they accepted Google Checkout which was offering $10 off $30. I wanted to buy a Nike iPod Kit for $29. As a filler, I ordered a mini football for $1.99 making my order $30.99 which qualified for the -$10. I clicked the Google Checkout button on DicksSportingGoods.com's checkout page. After logging into GC and verifying that the order was correct (both Nike Kit and mini football) I submitted the order. Everything was fine until I received a confirmation email from DicksSportingGoods.com stating that my order had been shipped. I followed the link in the confirmation email to DicksSportingGoods' order status page where I noticed that only the mini-football was in my order. I called DSG's cust. service only to get a runaround. They blamed Google Checkout and told me to contact them. Google Checkout has no customer support! I'm going to fight to get my money back. I'll never buy from them again and going to stay away from GoogleCheckout |

I would strongly recommend purchasing through a reputable seller, I wish I would have read these reviews BEFORE I made my purchase. Seven days after I placed my order, I'm still being told it will be shipping "soon" and they would have more answers but they are very busy...like who isn't? Imagine, a retailer busy during the holiday season...who knew? UGH! |

Free shipping? What a nightmare. Shipment gets lost in transit, Dicks gives the "we'll have to make a claim before we can credit you" run around. It took weeks to cancel an order I never received. Inane automated support is the worst ever, bad buying experience, STAY AWAY !!! |

Do not buy from Dick's Sporting Goods. My experience with the store was bad in every step of the process. The item I ordered was listed as 5-7 day shipping, but it took over a month for the item to ship. When it arrived I found they had shipped the wrong product. When calling customer service to correct the problem, I found them to be almost completely useless. |

DO NOT SHOP AT DICKS SPORTING GOODS! I placed an order nearly 3 weeks ago & have not received my order. I have contacted customer service 1/2 dozen times to inquire about the whereabouts of my order and each call takes no less than 45min., between being given the run-around, wait times, and frequently being"accidentally" disconnected. They have HORRENDOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE and claim to not be able to track packages. Website states 3-8 days for standard delivery. TERRIBLE, INCOMPETENT COMPANY! |

DO NOT SHOP DICK'S - IGNORE FAKE REVIEWS! Ordered an item, they gave us a tracking number. Didn't arrive. Contacted shipper - tracking number turns out to be bogus so they can't help. Email support just sends back form letters. Phone wait times are 40+ mins, they are either not helpful, say someone is working on your problem so call back, or say they checked and it will arrive shortly (it doesn't). Waited 15 days and still don't have it, have called them about 8 times and still no help. |

Leatherman I received was dirty and covered in fingerprints, obviously not new. I contacted them via their e-mail custumer service form. Received an automated e-mail. Replied explaining my problem again. They replied with the SAME auto email. I wrote back using a different subject, with my entire message AGAIN, and got another auto e-mail saying that all questions must be asked thru the e-mail form that I used IN THE FIRST PLACE. They are sending me in circles. "F" in customer service. |
