*- smooth transaction, surprised in quick shiping as not an ordinary set of books! - - - *- Very helpfull CSR service as called back to add a coupon and transaction was very smooth - - - *- Definitely an A+ online store, and you already know the physical stores :-) - - - *- Note: I later did not want one of the books and it a easy/quick for local store to take it back. |

(Edited September 09th by weiweiqi) It charged me $10 more than what it appeared when I placed the order. I called the custumer service. They transfered my call from place to place, found many excuses and did not give my money back. I do not have time to order this textbook from other places. I definely won't spend money on b&n. |

I ordered a particular toy train from Barnes and Noble for our son for Christmas. Although the item was in stock when I ordered it and was scheduled to ship in time for Christmas, they contacted us the Friday before Christmas to say it would not be available in time. This left us with no time to order from another retailer. When I talked to their customer service, I was told it was actually in stock, but they were unwilling to overnight the package, or make any other kind of arrangements to get the item to me in time. I was told repeatedly that making other arrangements would violate their procedures. Who wants to deal with a company that cares more about their procedures than their customers? |
