BEWARE.The Worst and most unprofessional internet company I have ever dealt with. Rude and beligerant customer service. After I hung up, the customer service "supervisor" actually called my home after getting my number from my customer account and continued the beligerance. It has been 17 days since I ordered and paid. Item still not here. BEWARE. |

Terrific prices, but shady business practices and pathetic customer service. I placed my order on Oct. 8th. Quoted a shipping charge of $9.99. They told me the pkg would arrive in 10-14 biz days. I expressed my concern over the lengthy shipping time, but was assured it would arrive sooner. When I received my confirmation, I was charged over $35 for shipping. I called to question, the rep told me she included the $25+ insurance because "her customers usually want it". They removed the charge, but that's not really the point, is it? A week later and I hadn't received an update or tracking #, so I call. I got the same sales rep, so when she puts me on hold to research my order and someone else comes on the line, I know something is wrong. Surprise, the order hasn't shipped yet due to Jewish holidays. They know I need my sink, tell me if they can't ship due to holidays. Avoid unless you've got all the time in the world and don't mind their bs. |

Customer service is none existent I placed an order and received an email confirming my order. They clam to have sent me a second email the same day requesting that I call in to validate the order. I did not receive the email so I did not call and they did not ship my items. 4 days later I receive an email requesting I call to confirm my order when I did the tried to sell me additional shipping insurance on my item. I declined and asked why the item hadn't shipped yet and when I would receive it and I was told they had to order it form the manufacture and them it would take 10 –14 days from when they received the item. I think if I had bought the 'extra insurance” it would have gone faster. |

You can find some good prices but the buying experience will be defenitely a disaster if you need anything outside of 2-3 weeks delivery with no hurry or care for your money or the product you are buying. Their customer service is without doubt thee worst in any market, without sense of what it means, SAYING SORRY DOESN'T MAKE IT (besides that you will be on hold for a good ten minutes at least). There is no supervisors and they will deny you any up help, try it and you will see. I wouldn't recommend this website not even to the worst of my enemies. |

Worst internet experience ever. Horrible service. Product mailed late with no explanation. Mailed to wrong address (billing instead of shipping). Tried several times to explain this in both emails and calls, but non-fluent English service agents were first clueless, then rude and unhelpful. Service "helper" wanted to know why we had different billing and shipping address!! Emailed wrong replacement UPS label, then wanted us to arrange replacing label and remailing even though we lived in a different state. When part finally arrived, some fasteners were missing. Parts boxes looked 100 years old; obviously re-used. DO NOT USE THIS CO.!" |

18 days to get UPS tracking info and still awaiting arrival. Item was listed as "in stock". Called after 2 weeks, took 13 minutes to answer and another 8 mins to tell me it was due in a few days. Women on call was pleasant but company customer service is lacking. |

Made purchase of a Faucet on 3/18/09 and it is now 4/13/09, and no Faucet. Call to check status and was transfered around, then got hung up on. Would not recommend, since there are so many other place on-line to shop. |

Please read this review before purchasing from Décor Island as my long tale of woe will give all but the most determined purchaser cause for pause. There is a 1000 character limit to this review so I am unable to give full details. Bottom line, they took an order, cancelled it in a voicemail a week later and then two weeks later shipped the item and then told me it was a special order and therefore non returnable. In the meantime, I had already ordered another one from Home Depot. Home Depot was faster, cheaper and had advised me that the item was special order. Decor Island cancelled their own order, shipped it anyway and then advised me that it could not be returned. Andy a DI then spent two weeks trying to get Home Depot to take theirs back! Then Andys boss Phillip got invovled and tried "work it out with their sales rep". Bottom line, I now own two $2,000 shower doors (only need one) courtesy of Phillip and Andy and Decor Island. Want to buy one? Save yourself! |

DO NOT BUY FROM DECORISLAND.COM! They are a terrible company. I have all my communications documented, so please believe this is no exaggeration. It all started 01-21-09 (it is now 08-14-09). I ordered 3 items. 1 item was backordered with no explanation on a timeline. It took about a month to get it. When it did come it was the incorrect color. I had to get a RGA # in order to return it, which took another 10 days. After returning it, it took another month to get the correct product. Since we had to return the item due to incorrect color sent, we also decided to change the size of the item to a smaller one, resulting in an overpayment of $51.26, which was to be credited back to my credit card. So far I have called them 5 times, several weeks apart, regarding my credit, every time confirming the amount of the credit, & being told that it would be credited within a couple/few days. Surprise, surprise, still NO credit! This is ridiculous, & it's a shame that they can get away with it. |

Ordered a tub on 8/21, even called first to make sure it was in stock. I was told it was in stock and would ship in 7 to 10 days. I then placed my order. I hadn't heard anything from them so I called on 9/3 and was told the order was shipped but to call back the next day for a tracking number. Called back 9/4 but still no tracking number available. Called again on 9/8 and this time was told the tub shipped 9/1 but I would have to call back the next day for a tracking number. Called back 9/9 and this time was told the tub would ship on 9/15. I asked to cancel my order and was told this would be impossible. What kind of service is this? I can't believe I still have no idea if my tub is even going to be shipped to me or when I'll ever get it. In the meantime my contractor is at a standstill and can't work on the bathroom remodel. I'm extremely frustrated and wouldn't recommend Decor Island to anyone. |

A kitchen sink I ordered arrived severly damaged. It's box was undamaged but there was essentially no padding inside. All attempts to obtain a refund or replacement have failed and the company has stopped communicating with me. I would definitely not recommend this mercant to anyone. |

after talking for weeks w/decor island so called experts, they send me a wrong item, them they have the audacity to kept $120. when I asked for refund, they never understood what 1 pair back to back handles was, I fought them back and finally manager Andy refund another $72. I was not agreed at all because it wasn't my fault, told them over and over before mailing the item to verify with me that it was the right item, so, they kept $50. and I spend $20. to send package back, I lost $70. Beware of their restocking fees, 25% they will keep if you return item, they won't tell you that because they know many companies that don't charge that outrages fees, and I prove it to them. I have big projects coming on, but Decor Island would never be the company that I can trust. Plus I found the handles lot cheaper with other companies. They charge stainless steel like if it was gold. They lie (fat lies too) not a honest company at all. |

This should have been a simple transaction, but I ordered the wrong part. The order was processed quickly, the price was good, but I simply ordered the wrong part. I called immediately to arrange a return and re-order, but could not get through. I emailed them and got one response that told me to "call". Several phone attempts (over an hour on hold) and several emails, all over 4 weeks, failed to get any resolution. I ultimately called my credit card company (they credited my account). All I can say is, the bitterness of poor service remains long after the sweetness of low price fades away. Avoid these folks. |

After waiting 67 days for delivery of a made in China Belle Foret vanity it arrived with a broken "granite" (faux) top. It has now been 2 days since we reported this to DecorIsland sending email with pictures and still nobody has bothered to even reply. Never throughout the process was any update information regarding our purchase process was an update regarding the delay ever volunteered. Not recommended. |

I ordered 4 items from Decor Island. The total was 50 cents to little for the free shipping so I added two small items to my order to bring the order up to the minimum amount for free shipping. Three days latter I received a phone call from Decor Island saying the two small items were out of stock. However, after a moment it became obvious the items were not out of stock, but they just didn't like me ordering small items to get the free shipping. They became very rude on the telephone telling me I would have to order more items and that their free shipping should have been raised to over $100. Stay away, any company that won't honor it's own policies is fraudulent. So much for their "Guaranteed Satisfaction". |

Price was ok for the sink I ordered but customer service is a joke. After 2 weeks waiting on an item they said was in stock I gave them a call. I was transfer to 3 different people and on hold for nearly an hour. They finally found the order, said it had shipped last week and I should be expecting it any day. I asked for a tracking number to be emailed to me which never arrived. Two days later I called again, they gave me the tracking number and when I check it showed that it had shipped 2 days earlier. If I wouldn't have called the first time I would probably still be waiting. I order a lot of plumbing supplies on line and this is the SLOWEST supplier I have ever dealt with. 3 weeks for a package to ship from Illinois to California is unheard of. |

BE CAREFUL. The picture of the beautiful warehouse on their website is NOT THEIR WAREHOUSE. They are mearly a reseller. our order was placed in february and they said at the time of the order that the unit was in stock and there was free shipping. after the order was placed they called and asked for additional packaging money. I paid it but it took a MONTH to recieve the order. when it arrived it was damaged, but customer service was unable to provide a replacement, because of course they are not a stocking distributor. I called Kohler and they said decor island was not an authorized reseller, but they stood behind the product. these are nothing but small time operators working out of a residential building in NY. BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK |

Looong wait for customer service phoneline and not very eager to help customer assistant, no email confirmation for shipment therefore no tracking info provided. The item (faucet) arrived with the factory seal BROKEN, with the shipping box perfectly intact. Since the package did not require a delivery signiture, I was not able to keep the UPS guy waiting for me to open the package. The item appears new but now I have my fingers crossed. It's definitely not worth the anxiety (and possibly more headache) to just save 20 bucks. Will never purchase from this place again. |
